Our staff and clients are on a mission to help our neighbors in need as we come out of the COVID19 crisis. So many of the charities lost their momentum during 2020 we are doing what we can to spread our #BESTHOUR positivity their way by using the strength of our community to toss a few bucks in their way. Giving is another way to reset our mindset and mood, we know when we help others, we improve our own mental health. So each month we plan to help a charity by asking our clients to donate what they can and Debbie and I will match the first $500 from our personal savings. We know matching motivates people to give and we’re happy to do it to help our neighbors in the communities we serve in King county.
During our April 2021 Theme Day, together we raised $1,205 for FUSION, a local charity right here in Federal Way. I wrote about Fusion and the amazing work they to do help families. It’s a solid program that helps families get back on their feet by providing housing, job assistance and so more. In the Fusion system families can heal, recover and rebuild to once again be on their own.
On behalf of myself, Debbie, and our amazing team of instructors, I want to thank our clients from Federal Way and Kent for their incredible acts of generosity. It is amazing what we can do together when we all pitch in to help a family in need. Thank you so much!
